Description
I named this cherry wood table “Tsunami!” for its long, flowing, wavy qualitites in it’s grain patterns, plus its front-left corner which natually curls down a bit from it’s otherwise flat top surface. I struggled with the idea of cutting down the left side and losing the beauty of that part of the slab so it remains as an interesting feature of this piece. It has a “bark-off” natural edge, with deep, vibrant color adding to its overall look. With a smooth satin finish, this console table is an attractive addition to an entryway, sofa side piece or hallway. This is one of two pieces cut from a single slab of cherry (the other is a 2-seat bench) which may make a nice matching pair!
