The sourcing and handling of the materials I purchase is of upmost importance.  I hand craft them from start to finish,and using only wood slabs made from logs and urban reclaimed trees that would ordinarily be turned to firewood or go to the landfill, from a milling company in the western US which produces some of the most beautiful wood species in the country.  They are kiln dried below 12%, and stored in climate-controlled areas.  I seek truly exceptional slabs possessing significant voids, nuance and irregularities, that some may consider “defects” – but I say gives them one-of-a kind attributes.  I take great care to preserve these qualities during my work.

I use a variety of finishing materials based on the intended use of the final product.  From UV and weather protecting SPAR varnishes for outdoor use, to more natural oils and beeswax, etc., for indoor items.  My goal is to provide beautiful, easy to care for, and long-lasting gorgeous Live Edge Wood Slab products that would make a proud addition to your home, office or business space.  Special orders are welcome, so feel free to contact me so we can start a dialog around your vision.  Please be advised however, that availability of certain wood species will vary from time-to-time, my slab selection changes regularly, and deliverables are dependent on existing production time frames.
